Market Design - Metaoracle
Last updated
At its heart, Metaoracle attempts to establish a market where people may exchange goods and services connected to data in a decentralised setting. Participants' objectives aren't necessarily in line with one another; for instance, feed suppliers and customers may have conflicting objectives (i.e., profit maximisation vs. cost reduction). To increase their part of the money, feed providers may compete with one another to offer more sorts of data.
In general, this section will specify what participants may, cannot, should, and should not do, as well as the formal rules that will govern interactions among members inside the Metaoracle ecosystem.
It will begin by outlining the players in the ecosystem. The market thickness (the size of the market needed to function properly) and strategies for achieving early growth to reach the necessary size will then be covered in depth. Before outlining how the market would be secure and simple for all participants to use, it will also cover the ways to reduce congestion if the market becomes too large for the infrastructure.
